Lots in the older villages like The Trails and The Willows are generous but rarely flat, while the newer Paseos and Reverence lots are tighter and squarer, which usually decides whether a full 30 by 60 pickleball footprint fits or whether we lay out a reduced court. Full western exposure against the mountains also means the surface takes hard afternoon sun year round, so color choice matters more here than it does across the valley. - Village association design review handled end to end - Courts fitted to Summerlin's tighter graded pads - Post-tension slabs engineered for caliche - UV-stable acrylic for full western sun exposure - Tennis-to-pickleball conversions on existing club courts Whether that means [repairing, resurfacing, or rebuilding](https://onpointcourtsurfacing.com/residential/repair-resurfacing) on a new post-tension slab depends on the concrete underneath, and we will tell you which one your court needs. Most surfacing crews can only tell you about the coating. We pour slabs too, so we can tell you whether a problem is the coating or the concrete underneath it. Brian Foley owns On Point and is on site for the work. He played number-one singles at Boise State on a full-ride scholarship, later competed professionally in pickleball, and still plays today, so he can tell you how the finished court will actually play, not just what it costs to build. On Point is a member of the American Sports Builders Association. Summerlin is a short drive from our base, and Brian can walk your village association through the plans himself. Usually yes, but almost never without design review. Each village association sets its own rules on fence height, lighting, setbacks, and surface color, and those rules differ village to village even though the Summerlin Council sits above all of them. The two things that most often need negotiating are fence height and whether lighting is permitted at all. We put together the submittal package and work to whatever the association approves. ### Do you work with HOAs and communities in Summerlin? Yes, and Summerlin needs it more than most. Nearly every village has its own association on top of the Summerlin Council, so a court usually needs design review before anything is poured. We prepare the submittals, drawings, and specifications, and we have been through the process here before. ### How much does a court cost in Summerlin? A new pickleball court runs $16,000 to $35,000, and a full acrylic resurface runs $4,000 to $8,500. Our pickleball cost guide breaks down what moves those numbers. ## Court Construction & Resurfacing Guides [![Black 9ft athletic court windscreens installed around a blue and green tennis court in Las Vegas](https://onpointcourtsurfacing.com/_astro/windscreen-installation-las-vegas-after.B3PBL8YC_Z2kJJQg.webp) November 3, 2026 ### Pickleball Court Fence and Windscreens in Las Vegas Wind Pickleball court fence heights, how windscreens handle Las Vegas wind, and local height and permit rules for Henderson, Summerlin and Clark County.
